Sabah and Sarawak's right to self-determination

Dear Everyone

This letter in the "Times" (UK) was written by a Briton in defence of Sabah and Sarawak's right to self-determination.

It is interesting it says so much in a few short paragraphs!
That was some 40+ years ago. Nothing has changed!

It says free to participate (like Brunei which chose not to sign the Malaysia Agreement), free to leave like Singapore!

We have "an intrinsic right to secede". It is a corollary to any voluntary agreement.
This is one of the UN principles of self-determination.
If not we were coerced into Malaysia.
